What counts as an email?
Each accepted recipient message counts once. Batch requests count per message, and inbound mail you receive is not billed as a send.
What happens if I go over my plan?
Paid plans keep sending and bill overage per 1,000 emails at your tier's rate. The rate goes down as you move up Scale tiers.
Do I need a credit card?
Yes. A card on file is required to send email, including on the Free plan. We don't charge it unless you upgrade. Requiring a card keeps abuse off our IPs, which is what keeps your mail landing in the inbox.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. Upgrade, downgrade or cancel from the billing page in the dashboard.
Do cheaper plans lose features?
No. Inbound, webhooks, templates, automations, SMTP, every SDK, the CLI and MCP are on every plan. Plans change volume, domains and how isolated your sending is.
How do dedicated IPs and dedicated servers work?
A dedicated server starts at $299/mo and is scoped with our team, because capacity depends on your volume and how much isolation you need. Dedicated IPs are also available. Tell us your volume and we'll recommend one or the other.
